SNR is a regatta management system tailor made for VSK where anyone can host regattas and get a scoreboard simply by uploading the result files which are automatically saved by Vsk5.
It is optional to score the races to ELO, but the host will inform on the water and it will be visible on the regatta list at SNR.
Most regattas on the SNR are only for one night. But it can be used for a little longer period, a weekend or maximum a week. However, if the races are ELO races, then the regatta shall not last for more than one day.
You only need your regular Vsk5 account. The login for Vsk5 is used to identify your boat also here. Only if you want to be able to host races, you need to register a Race Committee account.
Rules: NPC (A no pen cancel regatta). RRS (The regatta is following the full racing rules of sailing. Pen cancellation and protets are possible). Other (A mix of the other two, the host will give details).
ELO: No (The races will not be scored to the ELO ranking). Yes (The races will be scored to ELO). Pending (The races are finished, the races will be scored to ELO, but this has not been done yet - usually due to pending protests). Scored (The are already scored to ELO).
Status: Scheduled (The scheduled time for the regatta has not been reached yet). Onging (The scheduled time has been reached or some results are uploaded, but not all). Finished (The races are finished, but the regatta is not completed yet - usually due to pending protests). Completed (The regatta is over).
In the first general search field, you can filter the list by date, regatta name or the host.
In the "Find Boat" field, you can search for a specific boat (by login or boat name). Only the regattas this boat has sailed in will be listed.
When clicking the filter buttons, only the races with the corresponding status will be shown.
Just click on a row, and the scoreboard will load as shown in the example below:
You may search by any of the collumns by clicking on the column header.
Total is the total sum of points of all races in the regatta. Net is total minus the worst score(s) of the regatta. The host decides after how many races a race shall be discarded.
The listed ELO points is the total number of ELO points earned during that particular regatta. If the regatta is not yet completed, then it's only an estimate. There could still be pending protests or more races to be sailed.
By clicking on a score for a boat in any of the races, then a detaield view appears with all the information of a race:
